Do you provide a free estimate?
Based on your requests and similar projects we have handled in the past, we can provide you with an approximate cost during the initial phone consultation. However, it should be noted that this cost may go up or down, depending on the site assessment. Nonetheless, you can rest assured that our team will not act without your approval.
Do I need to provide the materials for the job?
For general tasks and common repairs, there is a high chance that the needed materials are in stock at our warehouse. We take pride in our massive inventory which serves as another reason why we are able to quickly and efficiently complete each project we are blessed with.
In the case that we do not carry the items needed for your project, you can opt to choose one of the following:
– Purchase and provide the materials for the job to save money on pick-up and material handling costs.
– Go to your preferred store with one of our team to get professional advice about the materials. You can directly pay the store for the materials and use our van to transport the items to your home or the project location.
– Allow us to take care of everything from materials to labor costs and everything else in between.
Will I be charged on an hourly basis or on a per project basis?
We can charge you by the hour or we can provide you with a fixed labor cost, depending on your preference. Either way, you can expect that you will only be charged for the amount of time that will be exerted by our team.
Can I trust your team to be in my home?
Absolutely! Every member of the 416 Handyman team goes through a strict screening process that ensures the safety of our clients and the quality of our services. This includes drug tests, background checks, and a requirement of at least five years of experience in his/her field. Furthermore, we also require our team to undergo the 416 Handyman training program which covers quality control and customer service standards, among other values.
Can your team work during the weekend or until evening?
Our call service representative will make sure to go above and beyond to accommodate your preferred project timeline. We have no problem working during the weekends or outside the standard working hours, but we do charge a different rate for such requests.
